twentyfour: where are we going

I kept telling myself that I should not stop doodling even during busy times at school. But I soon realized being a teacher is so much harder than I thought it was...

I doodled during meetings and stuff but none was satisfactory enough to upload because ...well..I just dont like them. Then yesterday I decided to buy a coloured memopad and I promised myself, if I wana doodle, I'd doodle good...

Twenty three: Portraits 2007-2009

It's really quite here. I was overwhelmed with new things in school where I teach now. New loads of workload, new colleagues, new experience, new settings, new environment...

To keep things a bit noisier here, I decided to post up some of my old works in series. Hopefully I'll get back into my producing-art mood soon...

Here's a series of my (human) portrait drawings [only the ones that I still keep]. If you could notice, I sort of improve from time to time. The first 'portrait' was drawn in the year 2007 and the last one was drawn last year...

To get from the first one to the last one took a lot of ...erm..'figuring out' on my own..it's a lot of fun and I think I could pat myself on the shoulder for where I have brought myself to. But it's a looonngg wayyyy towards where I want to be (in this portrait drawing ).

twenty two: "faces of men"

This one is inspired by my memories of men. Done in 3 hours. Taking my sweet time on Sunday...to keep my sanity now that I am back in school; but as a teacher now. hmmm...

Men are complicated but just to women; the same as women are complicated to men. Hopefully love, tolerance and understanding will make things easier..
